Journey?this is my inner experience...

A journal is like a story of your life. This is my journal, my story, all written down in paper for me to have and remember to forever. I believe my writing has changed during the course of the semester. The change comes primarily in the handwriting, it has become a bigger handwriting and harder to understand. The last thing I was thinking about was my handwriting and I believe it is a sign that through out the exercise, I was able to use the journal as a way of expressing all my feelings and simply letting go of things. I did notice that I was even having a harder time getting all the words correctly spelled and maybe this can be another sign that I was really writing and letting everything out. It was kind a relaxing exercise.

I was successful in being able to let my mind wander around. The first thought technique was one that I was able to succeed. It is revealed in the way I wrote in my journal. There are a lot of jumps from thoughts to thoughts and different stories without really finishing the others. I believe that I was able to really write the first thing that popped in my mind and how you start thinking about something and a specific word or thought leads you to a completely different thought.
In the life compass I was able to see how it really relates to the things that was happening in my life at that time. My first one overall gave me a 7 which can maybe be because school was starting, new professors, new classes a whole new year with a lot of new exciting things that comes new. This semester I've made new friends and some old friends have become closer. Friendship and emotions are a big part in my life and it is reflected here how I am feeling happier and excited to what is yet to come. It really is outstanding how this exercise works. It gives you a way to discover feelings and emotions you were maybe ignoring.

The journal has been a great help in realizing my internal journeys. This semester has been one with many changes and new adventures. The journal has captured all these events and has given me the opportunity to acknowledge that everyday is a journey and everyday you learn something new. Most days you don't sit down at night and think about what has your day consist of. What did you learn, what made you laugh, how awesome or sad was your day. These thoughts are part of the journeys and it is important for you to have them and what better way than to write about them.

  2. Yes, I loved how I could expand my mind to any topic and not having to write about a specific topic.

  4. I like your writing style, it is very peculiar. The journal was a great experience to all of us, we should thank the prof. for introducing this tool in our daily lives!
